I was driveing my car tonight with my friend and wanted to show him how awd get sideways. It just got done raining by the way. So i started going pressed the clutch in and punched it while turning left. It got sideways and when i shifted into 2nd it grinded. Its the first time it ever happened. So i got pissed and got on it again to see if it was only because maybe i didn't press in the clutch enough. It shifted fine. So for more reasurance i did it one more time but this time it grinded again. But this time i was sure the clutch was pressed in. I tried it 3 more times, 2 times it was okay and 1 time it grinded. It is the first time it ever did this. Except in reverse it grinded before. It only did it while getting on in and shifting fast. So i assume my syncro's are going out. I'm not sure what kind of tranny fluid i got in it right now but i'm gonna go pick up some gm sycromesh tomarrow. Hopefully that will fix the problem. Because i really can't afford to rebuild the tranny right now. Do you think the grinding is the syncro's and do you think it can be fixed by putting good fluid in the car?

Yes, I would replace your fluid with syncroshift or my all time favorite GM Syncromesh. It will postpone further probalems, but the best thing you can do for your tranny is not show people how to kick it sideways. Good luck!

Yeah but it does it even going in a straight line though. So either way i won't be able to bring it to the track now. But i think my input shaft bearing is going also. So i guess i'm gonna have to get the tranny repaired. To bad i'm broke......
