Well, I'm leaking some kind of fluid under the engine. I keep leaving oil spots nearer to the passenger side of the engine. The fluid "looks" and "feels" like brand new synthetic oil. However, I don't think it's the oil since it on the passenger side and doesn't match the color leaking when the oil is used for a while. I also don't think it's the Tranny Fluid because I'm using Redline MTL which is a red fluid. The fluid leaks very slowly but makes daily deposits. When I look under the car, I can't tell where it's coming from. I do notice however that the passenger side of the down pipe is covered in what was leaking(probably when driving). If anyone could help out with the diagnosis it would really be appreciated. Thanks!

Check your clutch slave cylinder as well, do you notice lower fluid in your master? The slave is mounted in that general area, and I had that happen to me after I installed my ACT 2600...

nah...all you guys are wrong. It's crankwalk. It's messing with your tranny and crank. Or maybe it's your transfer case leaking, wait but you don't have an AWD....=) Or maybe it's phantom knock....=P.

Alright I'm going to stop scaring you before LarryD kicks me off.

Seriously, could be the tranny fluid. How long you've been driving with the Redline oil? Should not be red after 10k miles of driving? How well does the power steering wheel steer? Busted rack will spray some fluid on that area too.
How often you have to refill engine oil?

Set,

i agree with Tripps, ... try smelling the fluid that leaked out, reason i say that is becuase brake fluid has a distinct smell.... if it is brake fluid, then more than likely you have a leak in the clutch system near the slave cylinder.....

another thing you can do to see if it is the clutch fluid is look under the car in the whereabouts of the leak, and have some one depress the clutch pedal and hold it in (with car off), from there you can tell where it's leaking....

i've had the clutch fluid leak out on me a few times, the clutch pedal would feel normal one minute, then all of a sudden just stick to the floorboard and not return back up....

yup agree on that too. Check clutch fluid level. My 120k slave cylinder liked to ooze fluid whenever pedal was depressed. Replaced with a new one when swapping clutch. Now fluid level stays rock solid.

My clutch fluid leaks. It is a slow leak, but since the resavoir is tiny I have to fill it all the time. I assume is on the slave or master cyllinder, but I haven't had time to really look. Some times the clutch won't through until I pump it a few times. I am getting ready to buy a Centerforce Dualfriction Clutch (or ACT 2600), but I can't find master and slave cyllinders for sale. Were do you get them? Will the leak reaccure under increased horepower?
Thank You I am new at this and any help would be greatly apreciated!
