rattling noise

My auto tranny went out about 2 weeks ago and i replaced it. before there was a rattling noise coming from where it sounds like behind the radio under hard acceleration. Now it sounds like it is 2 time louder than before. any suggestions would be helpful.

i really don't know how to explain it it sounds like metal to metal vibrating.

Hard to diagnose like this, but just make sure your transfer case is full of fluid.

i dont have a transfer case i am front wheel drive.

check for cracks in the flywheel (flexplate A/T) thats what happend to me.
