I bought a used act 2600 clutch with a warped disc, so now I need a new one. I was looking into the 6 puck or 4 puck act discs but I don't know much about the pros and cons with them. The ACT street disc looks nice but it's kind of pricey and needs lots of breakin. Will an OEM disc work with the 2600lb. plate, will there be any difference in clamping force or reliability/durability? sorry if I sound like a jackass but I'm highly uninformed about clutches/discs. I checked our RRE's website and got the basics, thanks guys~Brandon.

I personaly would go with another act street disc or Slow boy racing disk...do not use the stock disk!!! Puck disks grab like hell and are probably not the best choice for a daily driver, not saying that they don't work well, but unless you are making over 400hp and just can't get anything to hold then the puck style would be a good option. Pucks do make some chater noises and will take you some time to get used to. I hope that helps you a little.
good luck, Chuck
