Clutch/shifting woes

I recently got my car to shift great after much adjustment with shifter cables and the clutch pedal. A made a few run's from a 45mph roll sunday night and powershifted every gear with no problem's. Then I let the car cool down and attempted to do a couple dig run's. When I come out the hole on the 2step (5,500) I slip the clutch and it smell's pretty bad but hold's the power and when I shift to second it wont go into gear. And after letting off it is real notchy to go into any gear. Am I overheating the clutch? I don't know what else to do, I am going to fill the tranny with syncromesh and see if that helps but Im pretty sure it's a clutch issue.

Thanks for the help, tired of searching
