shift linkage

i need to know if the shift linkage from a n/a 1.8 will be the same as a turbo s/l. i have a 90model and my tranny is from a 92-93ish. i know i need the shifter assembly and the linkage but not sure if the 1.8 will work thanx guys

All 2.0 stuff will work but it is year specific. 90 will only work with 90 and 91-94 will only work with 91-94. The parts that do not interchange include...

shift mechanism inside tranny
shifter cables
all shift cable brackets
shifter assembly

i know that i just need to know if a 92/93 1.8 linkage,brackets,etc will work. my car is a 90 and my tranny is a later model
