Overland Park,
I was reading about the capacity of the transfer case to be about a half quart.

When i was refilling my TCase, it didn't seem to take that much fluid in. When when i tried to pump it in, it just squirted all over my face. Can someone ask me a dumb question for me to realize that it's fine? Or did i do something wrong? i put the oil in the filler hole by the picture on vfaq.

How big a jug were you filling it out of, and how much did it take? This is kind of a big "duh" question, but I don't know what else to tell you. Drain it again and use a pint bottle to fill it, I guess.

half a quart isn't much fluid ... maybe you forgot to drain the old stuff out first?

I'd also recommend keeping your face away from the filler hole
