nt trans rebuild ( 95 )

I just picked up a 1995 talon ( nt :thumbdown ) and the trans is in pretty bad shape ... 4th gear doesn't work at all and 3rd is kinda rough as well as 5th. It also makes a constant chattering noise when I'm just coasting down the street and not pressing the gas. I rebuilt my own 1997 gsx trans so I have experience with awd trannies ... but how much easier is this fwd trans to work on and how much do people spend on the average rebuild for these things? I have enough money and have the ability to do it I'm sure .. just wanted to know ahead of time what I'd be getting into because I couldn't find a write up on a trans rebuild anywhere for this car. I have a diagram of all the parts and it seems VERY simple. Any special tools needed other than a set of snap rings? Thanks.
