question i bought the obx short throw shifter and installed it and i know when i slam HARD into 2nd gear the edge of it at the base actually hits the bracket that the shiter rest's in...

any suggestions?

i think im gonna die if it dosent stop.

 help!!!!

I beleive there are numerous 2g owners that bought this as well, and threw out some of their stock peices so they cant go back to stock now. I know L2R has this problem, and he hates that shifter. You should consider selling it and getting a new one...

do you think i could put back the stock handle and keep the aftermarket base and that work?
or what u think would be best?

i still have the original bottom...
and i thought about getting a dremel and just grinding down the shifter at the base...
