tranfer case

on the my t-case there is a little hole on top. i sat my t-case on the ground upside down and it leaked oil. there looks like there is spose ot have a little pug there but there not. any know why its leaking. should there be a plug there or is the hole spose to be there.

Yes, the hole should be there.... It is a breather hole. The rubber cap that should be there is shaped like a mushroom. If you turn it upside down it will leak.....

thanxs. if its not on there should i call up the dealer to get the part or just let it be

its the same as gearbox breather and its a one way breather water will get in and destroy your oil.
