synchro problem

Hey guys is there a problem/weakness in the 3rd gear synchro in a 97 manual gs eclipse I have had to replace the synchro already about a year ago and now it seems like it is bad again.
Any insite into that problem ?
Is it a fluke or just a few bad shifts that leads to this? The car is used buy a few different people teenage girl and boy.

Check the syncro sleeve/hub assembly for wear and worn down teeth. Also check the speed gear itself. Sometimes under heavy stress and lack of lubrication the syncro will wear down the syncro face of the gear enough to cause a slow shift or grind. This turned out to be the problem in my 93 TSI AWD with second gear.

Teach them to at least double-kick (rev match) or better, double-clutch. Or, just use the brakes instead of the compression.
