The shift cable for the side-to-side movement on the shifter in my GSX has a lot of freeplay. It feels like it moves in and out of the case alot more than it should and alot easier than it should. At the moment, the car will only go into first gear is I manuever it in while im rolling to a stop and I have no 2nd gear. Has anyone come across stretched shift cables causing a problem such as this? It has progressivley gotten worse. The car was driven by and adult woman its whole life and I may have stretched the cables shifiting second hard when its not used to it. Any opinions will be appreciated. Sorry for the length.

Thanks, Bobby.
