reinforcing the Rear diff

Has anyone ever tried reinforcing the rear diff with steel braces, or a stronger diff cover to stop flexing under load?

Yea i noticed when my bushes went out last year that the diff was only supported on one side which is why the diff bushes always go bad the holes are there on the other side to take another bracket so its unusual that someone has not done something????

I have the Strictly Modified reinforced rear diff brace. I also have solid aluminum bushings. No clearence issues. And I believe it helps. My old stock bushings were torn too. It is a little loader in the rear with a QuarterMaster clutch too. But you get use to it. I will try and post pics soon.
