The seat also has blue inserts as well as red insert chocies.
I would defiantly have to go with the wider version. I’m 6’3", 260lbs with a 40 waist. I would like to see those pics of this seat in your car.

Superman Update

Ok guys, look what came in the mail. My new JMF Drag intake manifold. This thing is super clean. The welds and design are top notch. These guys do great work. I got this manifold on a group buy. It is setup for Dual fuel rails and has nitrous bungs on the bottom. It is flanged for a Q45 throttle body. The pictures don't do this thing justice. It is huge. I didn't get it polished because I was trying to save some money. I am going to polish it myself. Check out the pics.

I got the same one, but polished without the duel rail. I'm also running the Q45 90mm TB and I think that intake setup is sick.

You plan on running 8 injectors? What kinda fuel do you plan on running that you need that kinda flow? 8 1650cc FIC blue max injectors flow enough for just about anything, and those aren't even the biggest they make.

I plan on running E85. I know I am being a little stubborn with this choice of fuel, but I want to try it. I got a good deal on the manifold so I jumped on it.

Man you should go with one the bullseye power extended tip turbos. They spool up nice. And like a few people said i would definitly think twice about e85. If you lookin for the kinda power u say then id highly recommend c16. And what are you doing trans wise. Lookin good so far.

We didn't say anything about not running E85. E85 is the shit just there is no need for 8 injectors to run it even with high hp goals with the new fic injectors out.

It's cool I just wanted to make sure atleast for me, that I'm against E85. C16 is good it's just too dam expensive to run in a non drag only car.

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, dual rails maybe over kill. I wasn't aware of the New FIC injectors. I did my research regarding E85 and saw that you need 30-40% more fuel to achieve the same power as race gas. Plus, I saw Jeff bush's setup and thought it was the way to go. It's all good; if I don't need the second rail, I can just put a dummy OEM rail with some stock injectors to plug the holes.

I thought the bullseye turbos were the same thing as the Borg Warner turbos? Everyone seems to prefer the Borg Warner Turbos, so I think I will be going with the S374 . Regarding the transmission, I think I might follow Slippi84's route and go with the DogBox racing (NJ Shop) Dog Box tranny. It's cheaper and can hold up to the power.

Superman Update.

Ok guys, I just ordered the Corbeau Seats and Bracket/sliders yesterday. The car is just about ready for the cage. I have some more sound deadening to remove, but no big deal. I just wanted some opinions on GTFabrication CF parts. They are having a sale on the hoods.

How much do they want for the hood shipped? I was going to go with their hood but I called VIS and they wanted the same amount. Only reason I went with VIS is because my honda has their CF everywhere.

They want $329 for the hatch, $380 for the hood + $130 shipping (if shipped together).

The price looks good for both because the shipping is less. I may just get the hood right now. I hear their CF parts are really good.

Great and very interesting thread. I am currently also buidling a track only car. My build is much more modest. Using a 91 auto awd tsi. Car was bit rusty, some dents, but was dirt cheap. So far stripped out interior but left drivers seat and dash and center console and door panels at least for now. Took out front and rear bumpers got jm fab one for front,no front or back sway bars. Converted car to non abs.Took off air compressor ,condenser, etc. took off windshield wipers. So far still have headlights and horn.

Have installed supra tt pump and have dsm link installed as well. Plan to hopefully run the car for fun shortly with the stock 13g.Have megan downpipe no catback.
Run k and n filter ,have manual boost controller and portable wideband for now as well.Have jm small battery kit.

No idea what times would get with the 13g possilby boosting it as high as it can go since don't care if it dies. I have some arp head studs to install also.

Then over winter would transfer my FP3065 and jm race intake off my 97 since want to get like fp3052 on that car with street intake.
I would get ets intercooler for the 91 race car. I have crower 280s already would do head with stainless valves, new guides, springs to handle the 280s.
Do up engine wtih rods and pistons.Delete balance shafts of course. Have kevlar timing belt.

Would get stall likely billet one from ipt and shift kit and weld center diff. I have kyb agx used shocks to use. thinking getting powerslot rotors and hawk hps pads.
Not sure on tires yet. stock wheels for now.Not sure if should drop car a bit.Opinions?? like with megan drop springs.

FFWD fuel system and jm fab fuel tank also are on the list.Rollbar, race seat, lighter seat, possilby lighter hatch, glass, later on.

My goals are 10 xx anything ,don't want the hassle of hitting 9s. I have a twin turbo 99 ta that can do 9s maybe 8s havent' tracked it yet but its street car mainly.
Have my 97 2.5 talon also mainly street never tracked yet.

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates. I have been very busy with work. My company is currently cutting jobs. Thankfully I am not in the number. Regarding the car; I am waiting for my race seats to come. I ordered the Corbeau FX1 Seat. Once the seat arrives, the car will be sent to JMF to have the cage put in. On a side note, I was at the shootout this weekend (I will post some pics shortly) and had a chance to speak with Jeff Bush (great guy). He is a cool dude, and his car is super clean. He answered all my questions and gave me some great advice on my E85 setup. This shootout was the best. The big boys really showed Etown some love. Hopefully next year my car will be finished so I can race (dreams).
