Sean, I just recommend an oem shaft with the groove in it. That is the key. To allow oil to drain away from the pump. And not to just sit there and get hot and burn up. THE GRROVE IS THE KEY.

Yeah the dealer is getting it tomorrow for me. It's only $10. Well worth it

If you commit to the build it may not happen as fast but you could build a fast car. That's kinda the point of this whole thread.

I was worried about the same thing so I called SBR and they said it's rated to 1000hp. I don't think it's that good but I think it will support 800whp when mated with my coolingmist kit considering I will be running 3" IC piping.

Okay, because certain that is a 3.5" intercooler and the highest CFM I've seen for that size is around 1000-1200cfm which is 600-750hp.

ETS list there PRO RACE series fmic at 750hp and that's 3.5" thick but it's only 10" tall. The SBR Race FMIC is 12" tall so I think it should be cool.

Here's some mock fitting pics(not like the last mock fitting I actually used the car lol)

Two new goodies.

Coolingmist Water injection kit with push lock fitting

Only bad part is one of the fittings broke during shipping. We have this stuff called Qband i'm gonna try and use at work instead of taking the old fitting out because it looks like it was leak proofed and the piece is just a plastic nipple.

The other goodie is my new(well new to me lol) Campbell Hausfeld 30 gallon compressor
No more 4.6gallon pepboys guy lololol.

Tell me about it. I have in the back of my truck every single part needed to do an AWD auto to AWD 5speed conversion . . .

Welding is empowering. Once you learn a few techniques and get smooth with it, you feel like you can do any project!

Yeah that's why I can't wait to learn. My only hold up has been time but since the new job will be paying me to learn on their time I'm game.

I couldn't even tell you man. That is something I'm not to worried about. I figure it will be crazy light considering everything that has been taken out. There will be a passenger seat for the gf for when it's on the street but it will come out for track days so I wouldn't doubt 2600lb car.

Lol yeah yeah. I'm getting there. It's hard when you don't cut corners I had a chance to buy a 2.4 aluminum rod motor for $1k but because I wasn't sold on a 2.4 build with a turbo that crys for high revs and not a big fan on the JE pistons that were in it I passed.

You are going to post final prices when you're done, right? Because I am very interested in what I need to start saving to compete w/ my buddies Civic. He is going to be pushing nearly 800Hp and I can't let a Civic beat an Eclipse!

Well, his plan was only 700, but then with the mods he is dropping in, people in his forum were guessing closer to 800. But we all know how honda people are....

I will put it to you like this there is no set price on this kinda thing it's all kinda what you do with what you can get your hands on. To give you a realistic number I would save 10k get the big stuff and the little stuff will nickle and dime you the rest of the way to 15k just about. but I mean you can do it for cheaper and you can spend more but that's a good ball park to save. You figure my head will cost about 1500 all said and done and the block as well so that's 3k right there not including the car the cage the turbo system tuning ect.. i said I would show everyone a normal guy can make a fast car(fingers crossed) not a broke guy

Funny you say that cause one of my goals is to race and beat Cezar or however the hell he spells it from High Boost. I see him running NY with top street and I see him beating up on mildly built talons. Even if I don't win I think that race would get a good amount of attention in both worlds.
