No it's cool. I didn't want to post up the price because I wasn't sure if that was still the price. I actually got quoted 3k last time I talked to them and like you said 1k for the transfercase but I found a package deal that will take care of my DS and my transfercase so I just have to save up for the trans and axles and i'm good with the ultimate drivetrain setup.

You answered your own question

No you are selling it to me(uses jedi hand wave lol). To the question of how I"m going to mount the cell It's gonna go underneath where the stock tank was because I want to make sure I pass tec. Its actually a different color by the way the guy that helped me out threw a pearl sparkle. He wants to call it the black pearl butt I'm not real into naming cars like that lol.

Haven't decided yet but I think I"m going to be painting them black. These are teh 17" street setup but those tires just came with the rims they won't be getting used.

I bought it in a package deal with my fuel lines and stuff. Jason Lee is his name on here. I'm pissed right now though while in the middle of painting those white rims you see in the pic above someone stole them from out back of my work while they were drying. We think it was the guy who comes and picks up the pallet but I'm def not happy seeing how I drove an hour to pick them up LAST NIGHT and paid 300 bucs cash.

They were 17's so maybe this is a sign to run something smaller with more tire anyway but still tuff one to swallow...till the next big thing gets here and I forget about the rims.

Looking good. Alot of south jersey heads doing it big this year. I forecast 4 dsms in south jersey making 5-800 hp by spring lol.

Let me know when you need help wiring/getting a good base map in the aem to play with. Jay and me are probably going to be doing my exhaust on my gt42 setup, If i can get ahold of him.

You doing a full exhaust or just out the front bumper? I'm buying boosted 's exhaust and wastegates(the guy selling the JHR manifold in the classifieds) so I'm good with exhaust. I"m thinking I might get two of those Jayracing dump tube kits with the flame mounts for the bumper too for my duall 44mm wastegates. Yeah I"m more 700+whp goals though I would be mad with onle 500whp with this setup

The new Dsmlink just came out but I refuse to look so I don't get swayed from EMS because from talking to jake and others who were around when jake was tuning his ITB setup this thing pulls air FAST and load based tuning is the way to go. Especially since I think the power to be had is reving to 9.5-10k

ECMLink V3 has load based tuning and goes to 10,000rpm.

Personally in a street/race car i would never settle for anything less then aem ems, if i had the beans i would get a motec. It works, but its just not as upgradeable. I mean between boost control/traction control, individual injector/map/fuel offsets, and percentages theres just nothing that can stand up to it for the price. Did they even get a speed density setup for it yet? If they did do they have a 5 bar map sensor?

There is so much control with aem, you kinda feel like you can tell anyone what to do lol.

An update will be coming out for speed density. The update will be free. We(dsmlink users) just use a gm map sensor or the AEM map sensor. I have the AEM 5Bar on my car and a lot of people go for the gm because of the low price.

I know AEM has a lot more features. I was just saying what the new version had because it sounded like he didn't know they offer exactly what he said he was looking for.

See that's exactly why I didn't want to know that lol now I"m kinda up in the air as I am a dsmlink guy but wanted to go all out with this setup. The kicker is I don't have a eprom so it's really not worth it to go dsmlink even though I would like to see how bad ass the new setup is. I don't think there will be a need to upgrade the EMS setup either seeing how once I get the numbers I'm looking for the rest is up to me with driving and suspension tuning.

Not to mention my IC and turbo setup is not setup for a MAF thus speed density it is

ECMTuning now does 1G non-eprom conversions for $75 if you purchase ECMLink at the same time. AEM is definitely going to have more features. But, not everybody uses them. And ECMLink will be getting the free updates with new features. It really depends on if you want the AEM exclusive features that might not become available with ECMLink.

True. Bottom line Nate will be fine tuning it. I will let him mess with all the extra stuff he wants in a effort to make the car as fast as possible. That and I will be running speed density right away.

Dsmlink V3 sounds beast though.

It has 4 street bike tb's welded into the runners no clmaps like other cheap setups with couplers. it has one linkage that connects them all and on top of the ITB setup it has velocity stacks on the inside and a tappered plennum to make sure all the runners are loaded up and ready with plenty of air as soon as the tb's open. I of course haven't tested it yet but from talking to jake about it the thing wants to pull air right off the bat so tuning should be a little harder but of course with EMS it's only a matter of time. DOesn't hurt that I will be trailoring it to Nate(TPG Tuning) when it's all done to get tuned so I think it will be fine
Do you know what street bike those TB's came off of?

I think like a gsxer 750 or something but I don't remember exactly from my readings or talking to jake. I bet they're abput the same for most models. He made this thing from scratch so he would be the one to ask.
