To Race Wars??? or SRP??? It would be cool to see a fast evo. Theres alot of 10 sec cars that will be showing up so there may be some good racing for him.

Lucas is stopping by tonight and heading to SRP for tomorrow's races. Last word I got out of him was that he was not going to trailer the car so he will be on street tires. He is wondering if and how long they will let him run. On street tires he is around 11.2 but the car is not NHRA legal.

Well we got the car started yesterday, about 3 times. However it shuts down after about 25 seconds. Were not sure what it is but we do know its in the wireing, hopefully we'll be able to figgure it out soon. But it does run!!!!! When it started it fired right up and it sounded great to hear it run again. Its been almost a year. Hopefully Ill be getting some dyno vids here in the next week if we can figgure this out. And I know PICS!!!! I will get some up, not to worry.

Had this happen to a customers car once. It ended up being a bad coolant temp sensor and in the AEM map the fuel pump is configured to only work over a certian amount of coolant temp, so it would fire up, run for a few seconds then shut the fuel pump off and kill the car. It took me awhile to figure out wtf was going on.
Check and make sure your coolant temp sensor isn't reading like -90 degrees or something.

I am not sure if this can happen with eclipse cam sensor, but on honda this same symptom is due to cam\crank sensor settings on the magnetic pickups. The signal in some cars is weak, so adjusting the "crank H sens below" "cam L sens above" "cam high sens below" and "cam low sens above" fix this same symptom. Some times this is due to sync errors.

Im planning on making the event. Hopefully we'll get everything said and done and the bugs worked out by then or most of them at least. I think Jake is hanging up the helmet for the rest of this season. I could be wrong.
