So what have u guys decided for fuel? Im seriously considering magnus' mechanical fuel pump drive kit w/ a couple of their rails for my 90gsx build. Im starting off with a bw s368 but i want the fuel system to handle whatever i bolt up to the t4 topmount. Im just starting on my build so i still have a long way to go but the parts are already piling up. Im really looking forward to seeing how your car turns out. Any plans of comin out this way, maybe to bandi in colorado?

I am however in 3rd place in points for Pro-import class so we must be doing something right Points

Ok back on topic, lets not talk about my turd, this is fst91dsm build thread and lets keep it on topic.

We have a JM Fab Fuel Cel, Aeromotive A1000 Fuel Pump, a couple of fuel filters -10an Feed Lines, 1600cc injectors, -8an return lines. Were going to stay up here in the NW this year, or whats left of it, lol. Next year there is a good possibility of some long road trips with the car however.

Just a word of advice about the A1000 pump. I have the same pump you are running and I am running out of fuel pump at 42lbs, about 40lbs it starts to drop a bit of pressure and 42lbs it's dropping 7psi of pressure. They don't like to be ran above 85psi from my experiences with it.
You can however put a band aid on it and use a kenne bell boost a pump and add more voltage to it and get a little bit more flow and it will allow you to run a tad more fuel pressure as well, but again that is just a band aid.
Or you can sell your A1000 and get the eliminator pump, that pump should be enough for what you wanna do.

I might wanna add this is at 98-100% injector duty cycle with my 1600cc's

You should both look into the new FIC injectors coming out. They suposedly fixed the mid throttle and cruising problems and the new style has alowed them to have like 1850cc injectors or something nuts but they are suposed to cost 500 when they come out.

Not that either of you car about cruising or part throttle part lol

What's funny is you broke cruised and made it look like a good race

No problem man, and as far as all the misfortune, thats racing, and at this power level it's expected. Just sucks when it does happen.
We got a couple of things we are going to try in Seattle to keep this turd together, so we shall see.

Ive been thinking about the jmfab fuel cell but the fact that it doesnt have any type of bladders is whats holding me back. My car isnt goin to be a dedicated dragcar, it would still some occasional street use

It is true that there is no bladder but I would have no problem running the cel 100% of the time as a street car. If thats the only thing holding you back, dont let it.

It looks like we will have a few events this year at our track here in Spokane.

Here's the schedule in case you didn't know?

Aug. 30th
Sept. 13
Sept. 20
Sept. 27

It would be a good place to test plus I would love to see it run again!!!

Thats awesome, I had no idea the track up there was open again this year, if ever. We will for sure be making a trip up. My guess is either the 13th or the 20th.

We did all the welding in house, but the cage was purchased from S and W race cars. We did have to make out own A-Pillar bars however, the way they had theres set up was all kinds of funky.

Cool, Thanks for the info. I am in the market for one but I have all winter to find one and get it installed. The car heads back to Camas soon to have the tranny and clutch pulled back out but first I have to get it driveable. (converted it to e85).

The A1000 is a gravity fed pump but you are able to run it higher then the sump. We have run a A1000 about 10 inches above the sump in the past with no fueling problem. But good lookin' out.

As a matter of fact its just about there. Ive just been too lazy to get pics up. But I will tomorrow. It should be fireing tomorrow as well. We got the fresh built motor in with the new SBR head, bigger cams, cam gears, ect... Theres still alot of things left but if all goes well we'll be racing come Saturday. All of us at KAIZENSPEED have been leaving at about 10pm the last few days (we start at 8am). If it can be done by Saturday it will.
