Would love to!

If you guys ever venture down to CA for say a BOTI event at Sacramneto Raceway i'll be there just give a heads up

Maybe you should hook-up w/ Paul Nelson (one of the quickest/fastest) Evo's on the West Coast......if not the #1.......he's mentioned posibly making the trip but i understand it's a hike for you guys!

It is possible that we will head down to Sac Town. We really want to see how the car does at the 2 battle events here in the North West, Seattle and Woodburn. Were really not too far from Paul and Im sure well be racing each other more than once this year. I cant wait.

So is the car up and running yet? I'm sure you haven't done any track runs yet but just wondering how well it's running compared to the old setup.....if it runs.

Not running yet, but it should go low 9's without a problem and maybe a magic 8.90 by the end of the year. So, much faster than the last setup.

Thats quiet a great setup you have. Isnt that a honda radiator? Is that DIY manifold and downpipe? Where did you get the parts to do that? How did you head mess up before? What point do you think the cams need to be changed?

And I cant wait to race that Busa again, or anything else that is going to be there. I spoke with Tom at ETS about a month ago about having Paul Nelson bring his Evo to Race Wars also. Now that would be a race.

And for those of you who dont know about the Busa, heres a little teaser from last year.

just added that to my myspace/cardomain profile!

That will shut up the bikerboys at work....

When i saw all the pictures of this car and all of the excelent custom work that was done to it I almost had tears come to my eyes! This is amazing! I thought john sheppard car was the baddest looking(still with the balls to back it up) car out there, but hands down this beats sheps car when it comes to those aggresive looks. This machine just looks ignorant! It may not be the fastest dsm out there, but it looks the fastest for sure! So happy that there are people out there that don't take the easy way out and build a old muscle car, real man drive dsms!

true ever worked on a honda its easy i dont think the word hard is there, somethings with dsm's arent what i would call "easy" and v8s are no fun, well they are fun but its so much nicer to make a 4cyl beat a 8

It is a Honda radiator, yes. Its a little thicker than the Fluidyne that was in there befor, but it is half sized. I figure that will be fine for the short amount of time the car will be running. Yes, the manifold was built in house (KAIZENSPEED) as well as the downpipe. Well, all the fab stuff for that matter. Its made out of stainless steel pipe that was cut, fabbed, fused, polished for almost 40 hours, than welded to get the discoloration near the welded area. It turned out really nice!!! The quick and dirty regarding the head is Polk ported into the water jacket when it was being built, in turn pushing alot of coolant, and they never stepped up and took care of it, all after I had sent it back to have them resolve the issue that is still not resolved. So I have a SBR Stage 6 Head for this season. I did upgrade to 280's this year but they may still be too small. We'll have to see.

asd_gst : As far as heading out to the East coast I would love to, but were just a small shop with no sponsors to back a trip like that. Plus right now were just way to busy to even take a breath sometimes. Hopefully next year.

mitch26753 : Thank you for the kind words, but Sheps car will always be what I hope my car can be one day (in every area). Him and that car is what every DSMer should strive to be. If your crazy enough to go that fast. .

chavez408 : We hope to make it down there this season for the BOTI event. But like I said above, were just too busy at the shop and with us, customer cars always come first. We are going to do our best to go however. I promise you that.

On your direct port setup, what are the things with the wires sticking out the back? I have a SMIM that I bought with the direct port lines like yours and it has the distribition blocks, I just don't have what is attached to the distribution blocks. I would like to run no2, but I need a few random things. Thanks

Youll need jets for fuel and nitrous, some way to purge the nitrous and the list goes on. Trust me, do yourself a favor and sell your sprayer and buy a direct port kit. You will be MUCH happier with the end result.

As far as this manifold, youll need more alot more than just this manifold for this to work. But Im sure you already knew that. But just a guess, 2000. The main reason for that is the polishing. As far as our top mounts go, youd be lookin at 1100 bucks.

Bottom line is, whatever you guys are doing to make the money, I want in on the secret.
Well you can start by taking that wing off your car Just busting your balls a little

You have to be realistic you have a caere with nromal bolt on stuff and full interior and aall the stuff us normal people have. Their car is gutted stripped and sporting the notirous 42r. At the end of the day they have sheps car just without the one off stuff that make him as fast as he is. You want to go as fast like this car sell your soul strip your car and sell that wing lol
