When do I switch to high boost?

yea i kinda figured that is what you have. I want that boost controller, only I dont like the $200 price on it.

Summit Sport Compact advertised it for $39.99 on their last mag, but it was a typo... hehe :)

Anyone ever make a dual stage MBC themselves? I'd sure like to get my hands on one.

i have a profec b with remote and have found that i get better 60 times when i only use high boost, how wierd is that? when i get a bigger turbo i will use the low and high a lot more, i expect to spin a hella lot

thats what ive always told people about my setup with the profec.. it would be better to learn how to launch in high boost and take advantage of the xtra power

FWIW, I have the dejon tool dsmbc and at only $100 or so, it's a steal.. Anyway, I tried the low boost, high boost thing for drag racing and my mph dropped significantly. I agree with Larry and say learn how to launch with high boost. I personally use my low boost setting on the street and the high setting at the track with race gas...

Why even bother switching?? Get your suspension set up and just go. I launched and ran 20psi all the way down the track with my FWD. I tried the launching in low (15psi), then switching to high (20psi). But, I came to find out, that I'm way too busy between shifts to worry about switching boost levels.

Just moderate your throttle in 1st gear to avoid wheelspin, get good suspension/tires, and go!! 20psi on my FWD netted me 1.98 60' and a 12.80@109 on a small 16G. And NO, that wasn't on slicks either. You can do it too :)
