Today i was driveing down the highway and my car started to slow down and i noticed that the rpms would not go down.
This is an automatic by the way.
I came to a stop light, but when the light turned green i punched the gas and i was going into high rpms and the car would go really slow.
I looked at the car when i got home it looks as if it was leaking fluid where the trans is connected with the engine.
Do you think it is the gasket or it would not make a difference with the rpms not shifting? What could it be?

Front pump seal, likely.

Avoid driving it until you get the transmission repaired.

Thanks man. I recall when i got the trans rebuild last time it cost me $2000:notgood:
If it comes to that again the car is out the door:p

You can change the front pump seal yourself, or consider swapping in a 5 speed.
