7-Bolt Thrust Washer confusion?
I am rebuilding a revised 7-bolt block in my garage, and I am somewhat confused on the thrust washer orientation. In my bearing kit, I am only supplied with TWO thrust washers, for both sides on the upper portion of the crankshaft, and it seems like a "rod" type bearing for the bottom (no sides). If I am not mistaken, is this the correct orientation? Or do I need 4 thrust washers. OR...do I need only two washers for the top, and the 95-97 style thrust bearing for the bottom? Thanks!
