*correction on my part there. If it was in sask I wouldn't mind going. PEI was not meant to be taken seriously. Internet is a horrible place for things like that. If its just a western meet, then it should have been noted earlier or I missed it. All I meant is having it in Saskatchewan might open it to more people.
But 1990AWD, we already discussed that I didn't mean for the meet to be in PEI. All in saying, is that if you have a poll with all the guys from ca.dsm on here and see out of all those interested in comming, if they'd rather have it in Alberta or sask. Thats all I'm saying. But if you guys choose it to be a western Canada meet, then that's okay.

There is no way I could get to Toronto for a meet, it's nearly 3000km from where I live in BC now haha.
Granted I need to get another DSM first Damn deer, I'll have another one soon! haha.

I would vote Alberta but I am biased because I live here. I plan on trying to make the shoot out this year but it depends on how reliable my talon is going to be.
In two weeks, I'll be thirty minutes from Toronto but my Dsm will still be here in Edmonton in pieces. The joy of the military.
I would still need an idea of when it would most likely happen though. I need to see if I am on course, exercise or tour.
In reality, maybe we should have a few meets. Edmonton already has dsm/evo meets. (780 tuners) and I used to roll with the SW Ontario and GTA crowds when I lived in London.
I think we should have a Western Canada, Central Canada and Eastern Canada set of meets. We could post up pics and events, etc.

^best idea I've heard this year xD. But really, that would be great. Or even if the dates were staggered, (east and west at the same time, then central a couple days later) so that whoever wants to could cruise down together to the central meet (if anyone actually wants to). But really, that probably is the best idea to have an east west and central meet

Don't worry. Winter + classifieds are your best friends (unless people in BC are overcharging now too claiming it to be a great winter car.

Lol last time I looked DSM's were priced better in BC then in Sask plus alot more numerous.
And going back to what Joel said, Edmonton is a prime spot to host it. It has lots of entertainment potential with the tracks and west ED mall, could save a lot of people getting stunting and speeding tickets plus honestly who wants to say drive 5 hours then drive around all day in a strange place?

I'm down for AB or Sask, I'll put a link on BoostedAlberta.com. Someone should post on the 306 forum.

Sorry for my lack of presence, due to a car accident in the Talon in Oct I am still suffering from injuries and could not be online until recently. Otherwise I would have jumped in when I saw this thread. A friend sent this to me. For those of you who don't know me, I run the DSM club on 780Tuners.com, set up meets and what not. Last year we all decided a little to late to have a large meet, and because these things take time I wasn't able to pull it off. So I already had started the calls and planning for the 2012 season. If you all would like to join on board for the one I am planning already, thats cool and if not continue on planning this one you guys are thinking about.
The details so far are that it will be held in Red Deer. Our goal was to bring Edmonton DSM and Calgary DSM together with a not so far drive. Plus there are quite a few little DSM groups in Red Deer. I have to make a trip down to Red Deer and get written permission for the lot we have chosen, and of course collect a few things. I won't say what, but it should be a really good time. So far I am looking at July for the date, unsure of exact date until I sign permission from the landowner as to what is best for them.
So thats all the details I have so far. I have quite a few DSMs on board, however time and date and IF they all run at that time will come into play. lol

I am in. Hopefully my car will be up and running again.
She is currently parked in the garage until I get back from Ontario in April. After that, headgasket, hubs and wheel bearings, new rims.
Hopefully the parts start arriving shortly.
