i just ordered mine and im wondering what are some good spark plugs to use and a good spark plug gap ? jdm awd ? i know you have the following system what are you recommendations ?

I was told to run the same gap no matter what. 28-32 and ngk br7's I know Leon (Grndsm) runs some insanely huge gap but he also has a MSD

well seeing hows its sunday and buschur racing is closed it might be hard to contact them. I was going to contact them in the morning. currently i have msd dis2 but im looking to get rid of the system in favor of a aem cdi. my car is currently equipped with the ems. i guess ill just run the same spark plugs with the same gap until i talk to buschur or grndsm or someone at RRE.

TurboAWD92GSX can you post some pics of the COP kit installed on your car. I was looking at buying that kit, but was curious how it looked installed, I was hoping it looked somewhat discreet, but would love to see a pic of it installed if that would be at all possible. Thanks.

I dont know if his arrived yet but here is a picture of my Buschur COP. they all look the same

I'd watch out about buying one off dsmtrader. You never know what sort of thieving jackass you are dealing with there:rolleyes:

Thanks for the pic jdmawd, that kit looks real good, not too flashy at all.

i had the manifold jethot coated. keeping under hood temps down is way more bling then a polished finished:thumb:

Buschur recommends to run basically the same gap as with stock coils. However, earlier this year, I had my gap set at around .038-.040 in hopes of passing emissions. I forgot to change it back until I was back at the track. Well… I was able to run 25+ psi on that HUGE gap!

I went back to .029” later on, because I didn’t want to risk it, I was very impressed that I was able to run that much boost with this gap. Even Tym at BR (the designer of this ignition) was impressed with it!

BTW, I am using BR COP ignition with MSD box. You can check my gallery for the install photos.

I would call Tym at Buschur if you're thinking of getting the AEM CDI for use with the COP. He has been testing this combo alot and I think really prefers the new AEM to the MSD. He may have some different plug gap recommendations with it.
