Alright I'm going to get a FMIC soon, and need opinions on what I should get. I've always been looking at the greddy big fmic kit cuz I could do that myself and i really want to install it myself, then i was looking at irc cores but they would have to have custom piping made so i couldnt install it. I recently saw victory performance looked like they had a nice fmic kit. What do you guys out there have and how well does it work and give me opinions on what i should get

I would say you hit the 2 most popular kits. I have the IRC streetcore, and love it. If you are going to get custom piping, go with a 2-216 core, which is very proven as well.

IRC comes with piping. The website just isn't updated. e-mail Ken and get a quote. BTW the IRC core all the way! And get the race core, trust someone whose been through 3 FMIC's get the biggest #@%#@%#@%#@%er on the market, even if you have to save up money longer and wait a few months.

Looks nice and theat is something I can install myself because it comes with piping and everything.

The VPE FMIC is user friendly. Requires a little cutting of the front bumper support, but thats about it. The tubes all go right in with out any trouble. Just about anyone could place this on a car.

What is this Apexi Skyline GTR FMIC and where to get it

14B boy wonder says it all. Funny, I don't know any of the fastest DSM's in the country that run the Skyline FMIC. HMMMM wonder why?

I just wanna mention... don't get big greddy FMIC, since me and some others from this board are having over heating/engine running too warm problems... this is probably caused by the FMIC blocking most of the air to the radiator. I have recently got fluidyne radiator and two spal fans (one 12" and 10"), and my car still runs warmer than normal, going up on hills. Get an IC that allows to pass some air to your radiator. just my 2 cents...

What websites or places sell spal fans and what is the right size for which fan

I got my fans from RRE, since they're helping me with my overheating problem with my greddy big FMIC problem. I have 12" and 10" fans.

i don't think it's on their site, but you can call them or email them to find out.

Do all front mounts have this problem? Don't they all block the air to the radiator? If not which ones dont?
