There are certain things that I had to change that I was not aware of at first, the first is the thermostate housing. Our USDM motors have the radiator cap on the thermostate housing, JDM motors obviously do not. I was able to use the top portion of the USDM housing and the bottom of the JDM one! Also there is the issue of the oil cooler. The stock 2G engine cools the oil by water cooling it near the filter, the 1gs and JDM motors use a seperate cooler!
 
hhe everyones got their pics of their engines that theyve put together and are putting in.. I actually got dibs on a 6 bolt myself that if its still around in 2 months Ill be buying :)
 
Man, all you guys getting 6-bolts. I have had mine for over a year. Took a look at the pistons about 3 months ago and those Ross pistons looked as shiny as ever. Sweet sweet site to see, I tell ya.
