I read in the vfaq that i can advance the timing 3-5 deg. Does this mean that I can make the base timing 3-5 deg advance, or just 3-5 deg more then stock?

John

well if it is already right and it says you can advance it then what do you think?

I wouldn't do it more than 2-3 though. But then thats me. I dont like knock.

*EDIT* actuly if you have a logger I would advance it 1* at a time then take it for a WOT run, check your knock and go from there.

If you dont have a logger I wouldnt mess with it or not go past 1-2*

You can't advance base timing on a 2g unless you switch over to a 1g CAS and eliminate the stock crank angle sensor.

I have a 1g tb intake head and accessories. You guys dont think that I can go more than 1 or 2* past base? You guys say pocket logger, I can use any palm pilot or pda? Where can I get the software for it if this is the case?

John
