I have been wanting to install a bosche or aeromotive style fuel pump. I was considering having my fuel tank sumped, when i ran into rci fuel cells. They seem like an easier idea, and would be alot safer. Questions is are the dot approved is Pennsylvania, or would at leat pass an inspection. Anyone?

how indepth are the inspections? you could get creative and mount it in the hatch area like sheps then just cut your stock tank in half and have the botton still bolted up so it looks stock!

They _are_ a lot safer. But probably not DOT legal. Just like 5-point harnesses.
However, no one will know so well as the manufacturer.

i have a 16gal polythylene fuel cell with a full aeromotive system in my daily driven 90 talon. i have a custom cover for it, it fits perfect and is SMALLER than the stock unit. just a little cutting. if you do it cleanly , i wouldnt see any reason why you coulndt pass inspection.
