I just got the Turbo XS manual boost controller and hooked it up. I removed the old hose from the turbo and waste gate and ran the new hose from the turbo to the boost controller to the wastegate on the correct sides of the manual boost controller (as stated in the directions). Before I added the boost controller I was getting anywhere between 10-12psi, now I am only getting 9-11psi. I adjusted it just as it said in the instructions, what am I missing here guys?

9-11psi sounds like what you would get with just a straight pressure source going to the wastegate...either somthing is hooked up wrong or you just haven't adjusted the MBC enough...

Sounds like you have it installed backwards. Make sure the ball end is facing the boost source.

I have it coming from the turbo to the controller then to the wastegate. I have tried every single possible combination for those tubes into the controller and still none of them work. I even opened the controller all the way and still nothing. What could be the prob? Right now it is only hitting 8-10psi when it was getting 11-12psi. I just don't understand. Anyone have a pic? Thanks!

Did they forget to put the spring in those or something???

Actually, you might check that. Unscrew the adjuster all the way and see if it will come off/out. There should be a spring underneath it. Make sure it is there.

i turned my boost controller all the way and i could only get 14 psi .. sometimes 15 psi.. is that normal it wont go anymore. Does it mean i need a bigger fuel pump, or a bigger injectors or bigger turbo?

Does the safc II by apexi work the same as a fuel regulator?

Ive had my turboxs for about 7 months too and it workin rite either.......its the turbo xs dual stage mbc. I guess i just dont give up on the damn thing cuz it was about 230 bucks but i guess i should just try a hallman or something else. In my opinion turboxs doesn't make good boost controllers
