Turbo Upgrade Help

hey whats up I have a 95 Talon TSI and I plan on upgrading the stock turbo into a 18g. I was just wondering what other mods i will need as far as injectors, fuel pump, internals oil lines etc. I was also wondering if the 18g can run well off of the stock side mount intercooler?

The best I can tell you is to look at the upgrade path on this site. Also, I highly suggest that you do them IN ORDER. If not, you have a great chance on spending more money to go bigger.

*Just like I bought a b16g out of sequence, and now I'm getting ready to dump that for a 56 trim*

To keep going on what GSntncT said, do things in order. What makes you choose the 18G? I would recommend a PTE 50 trim turbo after you are done with the supporting mods. If you don't want to go that big, than maybe an SBR TDO5H 20G. I haven't read too much about the 18G because most people don't run it anymore. Now that the 50 trim turbos are considered "pump gas kings" I would look into them instead.

You'll always want more power.

but you have to remember,
more power=more money

so plan ahead, set your goals and do them one at a time...

and i'd look into something else besides an 18g. not many people run em and you can get something better for the same price.
