I was reading this article not too long ago that talked about modifing the thermostat. What they did was drill a 1/16" hole in the thermostat that would allow coolant to run through it. That way, when the thermostat opens, it wouldn't be quite a cold shock to the head and block. Maybe our thermostats already have something like that though. I guess I will take a look tomorrow at a extra I have laying around. What are your thoughts on this?
