Picked up a Dejon LICP, including turbo elbow. The elbow does not have the bung/nipple which the OEM has and is connected to the boost controller. I have been told that I can use the boost signal from the BOV if I tee off another hose.

Question: Is this the best way to go? I can have a bung welded on by the local garage which would probably mark up the nice powdercoat. I am just not sure what the purpose of the connection to the elbow is to begin with and why a tee connection to the BOV would serve the same purpose.

What have you others who have the Dejon LICP done?

Thanks in advance.

-I don't know what's the color of your powder coat. but I JB weld a brass barb on to my "J" pipe.
