I really like the idea of the electric exhaust cut out and wanted to know if DSM's can run with it before the cat?

If I am correct won't that be venting the exhaust off before the second O2 sensor? Thought that is a very bad thing to do. Also how will my car smog with that on, cause I thought people check for things like that when you get it smogged.

I'm kinda unclear about the whole electric switch too. Can you turn it on while driving or do you have to shut down the engine or anything?

One last thing, I heard someone talking about getting a ticket for modding their exhaust and since I live in CA I would like to know if I can get a ticket just in case a cop sees that on my car?

Thanks for your time.

yes you can do it fine before the cat. the 2nd o2 shouldn't effect anything but checking to see if the 1st is working right.

electric ones can be opened and closed whenever

Any time, just flick the switch.

Yup, illegal to use, illegal to have installed on the car. What a shock.

Still, dream on:
