Well this guy at work has a talon N/T. And he got a fairly new engine and tranny, and he wants my help in putting it in. He has a garage with a lift and engine hoist. And i'm fairly confident we can do it, but my question is, is there anything in particular thats tricky with putting an engine into a DSM. More than just stubborn bolts or the usually problems you may run into?

nope just like any other car ..... if you have a lift just unbolt it all and drop the motor through the bottom along with the tranny ... don't lift it up through the hood.

definitely take it out through the bottom along with the trans. its just a normal motor so u wont have to go through all the hassels of grinding down certain areas of the jdm 4g63t. good luck with ur project.
