last week i bought a 92 tsi awd, completely bone stock besides a feramic clutch and air filter. my last talon was running 13.1 on 19 psi on a 14b and had a lot of fun with that but sold it. the new talon is in perfect shape has been taken care of really well and mechanically perfect. ive been looking at a hrc super 20 to toss me into the low 12's maybe.. 11's with a bottle.... the only thing that sucks about a 20g is spooling.. anyone have any tips or things you can do to make it spool quicker without n2o or should i start looking for another turbo

thats being taken care of right now, 3 in dp, 3in cat back, ic piping, fmic, fuel sys, afc, wi,

okey dok.. in that case the 20g spool isnt soo bad.. like it would be laggy ofcourse for a daily driver compared to the 14B but the top end pull should be pretty nice.. if your looking for a pretty hefty turbo like the 20G that spools quicker I might suggest www.agpturbp.com , full ball bearing series turbos.. they spool quicker and pull harder then the 20g.. I have the AGP L2R myself.. not installed yet

If you are worried about spooling a 20G, the HRC S20G should NOT be on your list of choice. That 10cm exhaust housing will have more lag than a metro on 1 cylinder.

Waaaay back in the day on my old setup (sx pump/regulator, 550s, PMS, 221 spearco, etc..) my 20G got full boost by 3,400rpm. I don't know what clip it has, but it is very minimal. It came from extreme before people realized the advantage of clipping.
Stick with a normal 20G and a 7cm turbine housing. If lag is a concern the HRC probably isn't for you.
