ive never really looked under a hood of a wrx unitl last weekend. their ic are three times as big as ours are. then i got a funny idea, weld on new end tanks with the ol tig welder ??? possible front mount solution as many wrx people are upgrading to bigger top mounts or front mounts.

you can just buy a front mount intercooler kit like a GReddy IC kit for about $1000.

Yeah i suppose they would hawk off there old ic for a couple hundred bucks and then just do some welding and bracket work and you have a decent front mount for 300 bucks.

what if it's free, would it be worth a try? i looked and their endtanks are really wierd tho...
