head question

does anyone know what size socket the head bolts are? it looks like an allen or hex type but i cant figure out what size? or is it a special tool?

mike is right for factory head bolts. you must be thinking of arp head studs. so you both are right!

6 bolts are 10mm allens ,as 7 bolt motors are the 12mm 12pt sockets.And the arp head studs i just put in my friends car in a 2g i BELIVE were 13mm 12 pt. I cant remember but they wern't 12mm.

correct and APR 6 bolts head studs are 14mm 12 point.
