i was hauling ass one night coming home and when i got home.. out of no reason i decide to look at my engine. so i pop the hood and take a look. to my surprise there is a red glow coming from the space in between the top and bottom of the heat shield. its one of them red hot glows (the kind the kitchen stove gets when u turn it up real high)... this worries the crap outta me. any idea on what this could be?

i checked my gauges... and my car doesnt seem to be over heating or anything like that. i dont smell anything, and there is no smoke coming from it... just red glow, and i know its really hot. any idea?

thanks in advance!

yeah if you ever take a trip up a montain in a turbo car, the turbo will be red hot from all the work, it's normal, just let it idle for a few minutes afterwards.
