comp ratio

whats the comp ration on 1g and 2g eclipse engines.
have to know cause Im going to buy pistons and want a litte lower comp ratio

I have a 1995 gsx. what do u sudgest

The stock compression ratio is 7.8:1 on 1G turbo's, and 8.5:1 on 2G turbos.

Why would you want to lower the compression ratio? Most people raise it or leave it the same.

more boost. i guess he wants a louder pshhhht.

A lower comp ratio is good for high boost on pump gas. Though sluggish as fawk out of boost.
