To go 2.5 down pipe into 3inch flex and 3inch back the rest of the ways????

the downpipe on my car is 2.5" at the o2, and 3" at the cat, supposidly it helps to eliminate boost creep, but i really dont know cause it was on my car when i bought it, so i dont have anything to compare it to
just having a 2.5" piece meet with a 3" piece is going to cause resistance in ur exhaust flow, my downpipe is custom made to bevel from 2.5" to 3" so the airflow is smooth

That's how RRE makes their DP. It's nice to have a slight taper from 2.5 to 3" to keep the flow smooth.

I see no need to worry. In fact, if I could switch my 3 inch DP to 2.5 to dodge some creep. Good luck.
