I am working on a 1G Full 6 Bolt Swap into a 2G shell, and I was wondering about the engine mounts. Which ones should I use, and what do I need to custom make. Every site says that you need to have a machine shop do some work for the mounts, but which ones? We did a test fit tonight and think the front and back will work, are we right. Finally does anyone who has done this swap have pics or anything like that to let me know what to do. Thanks to anyone who can be of help, I need to get this engine in soon, cause I have no car right now.

First of all. Get polyurethane engine mounts. They will reduce engine torque, you'll launch better, and you'll give the ladies a nice ride :p .
About the help on which one's to get, call a dsm tuner near you who has done this before. Good luck. :talon: :thumb:

I just put a 1 g motor in my 97 gst spyder so if you need any help let me know. It was fairly straight forward. You need the 2g drivers side mount, 1g tensioner pully and trim the mount just around the 1g water pump. My machine shop did it free but its pretty easy to figure out. Let me know any info you need.
