Well just got my PRW catback put on yesterday afternoon. It doesn't sound half bad. WOT is gonna be kinda hard to get used to....But for the most part I say PRW is a good exhaust system. Anyways. Hello Boost Creep.

I went to the gas station and put in some 98 octane, grabbed a can of octane boost and went for a exhaust check cruise. You can definetly feel that spool up time was reduced drastically.....but.....in 3rd and 4th gear in full boost approaching 5.5-6Krpm my boost creeps from about 17 to right about 20psi. Well before I let off anyways. I can really feel how lean it is, AND how the wastegate can't bypass that much gas.

I was just wondering BECAUSE I DID PORT THE o2 sensor housing...what else could I do to lower the creep? Fuel mods on are the to-do list still but hell, I don't wanna shell my engine before I can get to the fuel mods. Thanks

I was thinking that there was a place that sells modified OEM o2 sensor housings that have a 2" pipe welded on. That would work right? External dump. I have heard of external dump o2 sensor housings but haven't seen one, and I don't wanna pay over $150 so if external dumps are astronomical don't even show me. Thanks.

The stock O2 hosuing flows mor ethan the stock diameter wastegate flapper, so porting that and not the hole doesnt do much. Also critical is porting the exit area from the hole on both the turboine housing, and the O2

hey man.....unfortunatley I closely avoided a near head on collison on Friday night and took out a small tree instead of some stupid freaking German driver. I dented my driver fender and cracked my front fascia pretty good, so my funds are limited. Don't get me wrong I am interested in your TRE ported O2 sensor housing but do you need anything such as a 1G TB, or intake, or a set of cleaned injectors (450cc)? Maybe we could work something out. Hope you get your car going soon....I have been waiting for your review like craZy as I am sure everyone is. Let me know, lets see what we can do.

at this point in time the only thing left I need is a valve cover and I dont think you can get it here fast enuf from Germany.. im rushing for that.. lemme know if yer interested in this, we may be able to work something out..

btw. sorry to hear about yer accident..

i would have full boost before, like runs fine till the redline, but then recently it seems to boost a lil lower, like i dont feel the full power like i did before, like it takes a lil longer getting the and the boost gauge needle doesnt boost full like it used to.... any ideas?

Could be a boost leak developing. In my case, boost started falling off to 16 psi on my 14b. When I removed it I found out why. Something went through the turbo and chewed up the comressor wheel ;)
