Griswold,
im considering a fpbig t-28 and i was wondering if an upgraded side mount ic would be enough for this, or should i just go for a fmic. also, would 550's be enough to put my car into 12's safely, or should i just get 660's?

If you would be happy with 12's, and not feel the need to go any faster, then I would say you would be fine with your current setup. However, if you plan on going faster, than would suggest getting the Front Mount at least. An AFC and 550's is a fine combination for the turbo you are planning to run, and the time you are setting on as a goal. The Front Mount is one of those things you are going to need anyway, and will benefit you both on the small turbo, and if you plan to go larger in the future. However, an AFC and 660's would only take you so far. See where I am going with this? If it's something you can do NOW, that will benefit you both now AND later, then I suggest doing it right once, and not spending the money twice. Good luck.

Regards,

As for the injectors....like NOS said...don't pay twice. Get the 660's now, with an SAFC (or equivelant) to control them. Then when you run a twelve and decide you need more speed, you already have a fuel system to handle it (minus pump of course). The IC....FMIC gives great bang for the buck and our stock one blows. As for an "upgraded side mount" forget it. If you are going to spend money for an IC, get a front mount. Yes, people will instantly see it and expect more of your car, you can't be "stealth" with a FMIC. Oh well. It's worth it. It's one of the big mistakes I've made on my car.
