I am maby in the process of buying a a fuel pump but want a know if it will work i nmy car properly!!
Its a trex 190 lph inline fuel pump! Its my roomates and it came with his ati supercharger kit and he just upgraded to a waldbo 340lph pump. So would this pump work and be any good on my car?? And what else would i need to run with it??

2nd question is i got a 16g(small) and am using my 14b hoiusing on it i bought cracked. And was wondering if i could port it out some to make up the difference from the 6cm2 to 7cm2?? possible or not?? Thanks!!

im not familair with that fuel pump, i would just buy a walbro 255 high pressure for $100 for the sake of your car and piece of mind.

as for the turine housing, yea, use it. just make sure you:

A: port the wastegate ALOT, both the hole and the surrounding, area, wallow it out GOOD or you will get boost creep.

B: get rid of the step and hog out as much as you can.

thats what i did and i run 20psi with no creep, and it spools quick.

but get a GOOD fuel pump, that extra 100 bucks might save ya 3000.

a: real rule #7 http://www.dsmtuners.com/termsofuse.php#rules
b: what PSI does the pump put out? if you dont know the full specs of it, dont bother really. grab up a walbro 255 or 190 depending on your demands.
c: third, try to at least attempt to make your post easy to follow.
d: depending on the pressure it puts out, you may need a FPR at least (wont need it with a walbro 190 which runs around 43 psi, like stock). also look into a denso pump from a supra, RX7 TII, etc. they are quite and very nice.

While your in the rules section, check out #5 too, "5.USE DESCRIPTIVE THREAD TITLES. If it's not descriptive, it's not worth reading."

Spend the $95 dollars and get a walbro, a fuel pump made for our cars and not trying to retro fit another fuel pump you don't know will work or not. You might need an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.

I would be wary of using the RX7 or 3kgt pumps, or the supra pump, they work FANTASTIC, but unless you dont mind getting pretty creative with hooking them up, just go with the 255 high pressur, its direct drop in replacment, yes it whines a little.. but thats because it loves you.

Thanks guys and sorry for not reading the rules. Is there much of a difference between the 190 and 255 in all honesty, dont be arseholes im just askin cause i heard with the 190 u dont need a fpr but with the 255 u do. Tell me more!!
