Alright i know this doesnt belong here but no one ever looks in the tranny forum. anyways...... im considering buying a AWD tranny from japan for my 91 talon.... it only has 36k miles on it... has anyone here heard anything bout these trannys or are they same as stock ones? i need a new one either way.

Many of us hit the "new posts" without regard to the specific forum.... much to the terror of the NT people, apparently.
But, before a mod moves this, they "claim" it has that mileage, and of course, you can ruin a gearbox in 2,000.
Only curve I know of is that you may get a Gallant box with the selectable AWD/FWD, and/or that tall first gear they speak of.

But why Japan? Super deal? It's not like transmissions are tough to find around here.
