okay i took it all the way off .. it was a 3inch straight pipe with an n1 and now its nothing but a downpipes tied up ( im getting a custom exuast out the side of my car .... but anyways i cut the 02 sensor on the exaust .. the one under the car does this matter ????? thanks

That O2 sensor is there to monitor the effeciency of the cat. If you are going utilize a cat for emmisions then you should get it replaced. If you're going go the "REAL" way with no cat then atleast get an old dead sensor and use it to plug the hole. That way the only CEL light you would possibly get is an Catalyst Ineffeciency" code. Meaning the cat you're supposed to have is not working well. As usual others may have other ways they would do it.

so its not going to mess with the fuel or anything like that .... its not anything like the other one correct ... i didnt have a cat to began with so i dont need to worry about all that .. i just love the way that green sounds with no exaust ... much tougher ... though i choke on fumes
