Does it matter which way you put in the banjo volts for the turbo oil and coolant lines. I noticed they have a hole in them , does the whole need to be lined up with the line so the oil and coolant can flow freely , or can i just screw them in and not care where the hole lines up??

I asked the same question and was told that it does not matter. I have had no problems with my car yet.

Agreed, it doesnt matter. The inside of the banjo bolt lets the oil flow between the line and the turbo or vice versa.

Hey all,

I am using RRE's stainless steel oil feed line and I have a question regarding the banjo bolt. Does the banjo bolt need to be lined up with the hole in the oil feed line fitting? (There a hole on the fitting, and two holes in the banjo bolt and I was wondering do they have to be line up or not because no matter what position I try screwing it down, I cannot get it to line up!) Also, how about the water lines? Do they also need to be line up to the water line hole or not? Thanks.

Nah, the fitting has a groove for the oil to flow around the bolt. Also, the oil pressure entering the fitting is very high so the flow will be good even without the banjo bolt holes lining up.
