GreenBelt,
I have a greddy turbo timer (with harness) everything appears to be wired up correctly. Here is the problem, all of the timer functions work properly in regard to reading rpm and voltage. Now for the fun stuff. when the key is removed everything electrical is kept on for the count down. Which the timer does properly. The only thing that does not stay running for the count down is the motor. dash lights, radio, fans all stay powered until the timer finishes the count down, except for the motor.

Anyone have similar problems with the greddy or any other brand turbo timer? if so how did you correct it if you were able to. Also the timer is ground to its own ground source and is not piggybacking any other ground. The parking brake wire is also connected correctly.

I have the same problem with my HKS TT. It works properly when the car is running etc (rpms, speed, etc) and when I turn the key off, the TT counts down like it should, but the car turns off. I think the problem is that a fuse was blown inside of it, but I can't be for sure. Sorry I couldn't help...I just TT myself. HKS charges 120 bucks to get the TT back if they find that there is nothing wrong with it as a service fee :( so I just chose to keep it for the time being.

Cool at least im not alone, it would almost make more sense to replace it if the repair cost is equal to the replacement cost.

Yeah, HKS's return policy sucks if you ask me. Oh well. Mine was working fine until I left my lights on 1 time for like 30 minutes. When I returned, everything seemed fine, but obviously it wasn't when I turned the car off. I'm sure Greddy has a better warranty policy than HKS. If I buy another, it will probably be a Greddy.
