I was wondering what the easiest way was to pull the engine out. I have to pull it out to rebuild it and bore it out. The question is do i drop the tranny? Do i pull it out with the tranny? I just need to get that damn engine out and i have no clue what the best way of doing it is. I just wanted some detailed opinions on takin it out? Thanks a lot

Leave the motor and tranny together. It'll come out 1,2,3. If it's AT, it'll be tight, because the tranny is so big. But an MT will be no problem.

agree. It's much easier if you take off the hood and crank pulley (not necessary but more space to work with) and hoist the motor/tranny up. Good luck.
