Just wanted to know if resonators hurt flow at all? I know they quite the exhaust down but dont really understand how. THANX:thumb:

I plan on having a nice LOOOOONG resonator put on to cut my noise down a lot.

That way I can put my test pipe back on and it wont sound horrible, plus the increase in flow from the tst pipe will counter-act the loss due to the resonator. :D

Why can't you just put the resonator in place of the tespipe(no cat back)?:thumb:

There are two types of resonators:
Louvered Core
&
Perforated Core

The latter of the two (perf) is the one you want. They present no (or might as well be none) restriction.

i got a test pipe with resonator but not a strait thru muffler so wanna take out my resonator and see how much louder or rumbly i can get it. If anything i would change the dynomax muffler for like an apex n1 universal or something like that and keep the mandrel catback.
